Tips:



Player one (Blue) is a slower ship but it shoots two blasts at the same time, making it easier to aim. This is a good offensive ship. Player two (Red) is a much faster and more maneuverable ship, but it is hard to hit the other player with its single shot. This is the ideal defensive ship.

I have made the ships so it will fit the two stereotypes of players, those with one thing on their mind: Kill, maim, destroy, to shoot anything that moves, and the other type of player: those with a strategy. The red can easily dodge the blue player's shots, and then make a quick hit and run. If the blue player is in close range of the red and just starts blasting away, the red will have no chance trying to shoot back. Both have one kamikaze missile and once it is shot off, it will stay active the entire round. You can steer the missile with your ship controls, notice how it steers differently. Hitting a player with it will take away two energy points. When the player is down to one energy point, the missile can hit them but it won't detonate, because there is not enough energy for it to detect and arm itself with. Hyperspace is good to get out of a tight situation quickly, but it takes one point of energy with it.
